One of the biggest issues in our culture is that we have difficulties asking for help. The environment in which we grow up strongly insinuates that we all must stand on our own feet, and most of problems we are facing, we have to solve by ourselves, or at least try to. However, in recent approaches this attitude is losing its importance, mostly due to the fast-changing environment, the spread of multitasking and the blurring of borders among professions. It is advisable, especially in leadership careers, that the filling of a position is considered a team effort, which does not only include subordinates, but consultants, coaches and mentors.
Those who believe in this can count on significantly more resources, and the contribution of us coaches.
